Edwin F. Jennings 

      EDWIN F. JENNINGS is a former Chief Officer FDNY (1949 - 1979) and past President of the Uniformed Fire Officers Association AFL- CIO (1968 - 1979). He has provided fire protection consulting service to the real estate industry since 1979 in connection with the High Rise Fire Safety Law, Local Law 5/73. In 1981, expanded to provide fire alarm system design and installations. Appeared before the High Rise Fire Safety Task Force on behalf of more than 200 buildings. Developed plans and specifications for a similar number of buildings. Installed fire alarm systems in approximately 250 buildings and alterations in tenant spaces that number in the thousands. Pursuant to Local Law 16/84, installed emergency lighting fixtures at exits and access facilities in several hundred high rise buildings. More than 22 years experience representing clients before the Department of Buildings and the New York Fire Department. Has overall responsibility for planning, organizing and direction of all activities of FSA.
